Usage

“Email notification” can be used as:

  • Lead flow destination

Please bear in mind that “Email notification” is intended to be used internally within your organization, and not to communicate with the email address gathered with the lead form. In case you want to contact by email with your leads you should use the integration “Welcome email”.

Setting up your email notification

Setting up your email notification file with Ads Workbench is really simple, you just need to follow these steps:

  • Go on the left menu  -> Integrations
  • Click on the button “Create new”
  • Enter a name for the integration and select “Email notification” from the Type dropdown list
  • Enter at least the mandatory fields
  • Finally click on the button “Save”

It is important to note that in the body you can include here multiple custom tags (starting and ending with %%) such as %%TAG_NAME1%% or %%my_field_1%%, that can be mapped with form fields when creating a lead flow. You can also include the special variables ${currentdate} to get the current date and ${timestamp} to get a number representing the current date and time (number of milliseconds since the UNIX epoch).

Creating a lead flow

A lead flow is an automation that allows you to collect the leads coming from a source and send them to multiple destinations. Once your ad account is connected and your have created the integrations for the systems where the leads will be sent, you can create you lead flow as described in the following video:
